Wantone Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 20, 2026
This policy explains what personal data Wantone collects when you shop on app.wantone.now, visit wantone.now, or are a customer of a store that uses Wantone, why we collect it, who sees it, and how long we keep it. We've tried to say it plainly.
Who we are. MinuteWork AI, Inc. ("Wantone", "we"), 2100 Burbank Blvd, Woodland Hills, CA 91367, United States. Contact: support@wantone.now.
1. Two roles
- Your Wantone account and your orders on Wantone. For these, Wantone decides how your data is used. That's the main subject of this policy.
- A store's own customers. Some stores connect their Shopify shop to Wantone. Wantone's Shopify app then reads that store's customers and orders (names, addresses, phones, emails) and acts for the store, under its instructions, to show you its products, take your orders and send them to its shop. The store is responsible for that data as its own customer data. If you ask us about it, we'll help or pass it to the store.
2. What we collect
| What | Why | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Phone number | To sign you in with a code we text you, and to stop abuse | You |
| Name, delivery address, phone and email for an order | To take, ship and support your order. The seller of each order, and the courier it uses, get what they need to deliver it | You, or the store's shop if you're its customer |
| WhatsApp offer preference | To send offers from Wantone and the store only if you choose to get them, and to honour your withdrawal | The unticked offer box at gift claim or checkout, or your withdrawal request to us; we keep your choice and its time |
| Receipt email | To send your order emails and receipt, for stores that send them | You |
| Orders and payments (what you bought, amounts, tax, gifts used, refunds) | To run your order, keep accounts, and handle refunds and tax | You, the store, and the payment provider. We don't receive or store your full card number |
| GSTIN (India), only if you give one for a GST invoice | To put it on your invoice | You |
| Invitation details (name, email, phone) | A store or Wantone may give you an invitation, with a code, to a store's shop and a welcome gift. We keep the invitation and its gift | The store, from its own customer list, or Wantone |
| A session token | To keep you signed in, for up to 90 days or until you sign out. We keep only a scrambled (hashed) copy of it | Our app |
| Technical data: a scrambled (hashed) form of your device's address and its network, and a record of sign-in attempts | Rate limits and abuse checks on sign-in texts. We never store the address itself for this, and delete it, with the phone number or email the code went to, about a day later | Your device |
| Messages you send us (for example to support@wantone.now) | To answer you | You |
| Gifts and preferences (gifts you were given, and whether you opted in to marketing email) | To give and honour them | You and us |
Your visits and activity in our app: the store you arrive at, with the campaign tags (utm_source, medium, campaign, content) and any invitation code of the link you came by; which videos you view; when you tap "I want one" before signing in; when you ask for a sign-in code (and whether it was sent) and when you finish signing in; what you add to your cart; when you open checkout and start a payment; your paid and refunded orders, with any gift used; and when you open an invitation and reveal or claim its gift. Many of these are kept with a scrambled (hashed) form of your network address, for 2 hours (section 6) | To see how people find Wantone and where they drop out, and to count which videos lead to a purchase, so creators and stores can see what works. The scrambled address is used only to limit abuse | Our app, as you use it |
| A random visitor ID, with when it was first and last seen, and the campaign tags (and any invitation code) of the first and the latest link you came by | To link those steps together before you sign in, and to your account after you do | Our app |
| On each order: the visitor ID of the app install that placed it. On each cart and order line: the video clip that led to the item | To know which video led to an order | Our app |
| How you watch: for each clip you play, how long you watched, the clip's length, whether you watched to the end (or nearly), and whether the sound was on; and, when you open a product sheet from a clip, that you did. Each is kept with your visitor ID, the store, the product, the clip and its creator, the campaign tags (and any invitation code) of the latest link you came by, and the time. It holds no IP address (only the scrambled form above, for 2 hours), browser or device details, location or contact detail. Your visitor ID is linked to your account when you sign in, or take a signed-in step such as adding to your cart, so the plays made on that device before are linked too | To order your own feeds, and to check, in totals across all shoppers, how well that works | Our app, as you use it |
| Your advertising opt-out: whether your browser sent a Global Privacy Control signal (kept on each order), and the date you opted out, kept on your account and on that browser's install | To honour your opt-out | Your browser, or your choice on the opt-out switch |
| Clips you save (the heart): the clip and when you saved it. Signed in, kept in your account. Signed out, kept only on your device until you sign in | To show you which clips you saved | You |
| What you've seen in a store's feed: for each product, when it was last shown, the most you watched of its clip, which clips you watched to the end, a few counters (details opened, watched again, creator swipes, sound turned on, shared), how many visits it was moved up with no action from you, and whether you tapped "I want one". It's a small summary, not a log of every tap, and holds no time of day, only the date it was last shown | To arrange each store's feed so you see fresh things first | Our app. Kept only on your device |
| Your feed ranking: a short list of numbers that weigh product tags (such as a style or a category), the products you've seen lately with the day you last saw each, and, for a short while, the order of your Home's first page, kept for you, or for your device before you sign in. It holds no name, phone, email, age range or gender | To order your own feeds, so you see what you're more likely to like | Worked out by us from what you do in the app |
| Which clip led to an item in your cart, for stores in our creator program: the clip you were watching when you added a product, or the clip named by a link you opened. It's kept on the cart line and then on the order line | To credit that clip's creator when you buy | Our app, as you use it |
We don't collect anything sensitive on purpose (such as health or biometric data), and Wantone doesn't build ad profiles. Where a store advertises on Meta, Meta handles advertising data as described in section 4A. Our app records its own statistics on our own servers (see the rows above). Apart from the advertising described in section 4A, it uses no third-party analytics and no advertising trackers, and never sends your visitor ID or activity to any other company. The marketing site has none.
Your IP address. Our web server keeps no access log. Its error logs can hold your IP address for a short while, and rotate away. Our video provider (Mux) and our marketing site's host (Vercel) see your IP address when you load a video or the site.
The Wantone bubble on a store's own website. A store can add a small Wantone bubble to its own website. It shows that store's clips from Wantone, and clicking it opens the store's Wantone page in a new tab. If you visit a page with the bubble, your browser contacts our server (api.wantone.now) to get the bubble and the store's public clip list, and Mux for the clip pictures and previews, so both see your IP address, as above. The bubble doesn't send the page's address and doesn't set any cookie, and Wantone stores nothing about you from it beyond those error logs. The × hides the bubble for that browser tab only. If you click through, the visit to the store's Wantone page is counted like any other visit that arrives by a link with campaign tags (section 2, above).
Your browser also tells our server when the bubble or a gift popup is shown, closed or tapped. We only add these up into daily counts for each store (and each popup version). We keep no visitor ID, cookie, IP address or page address with them. To limit abuse, our server holds a scrambled form of your network address in memory for up to an hour.
A store's gift popup on its own website. A store with the bubble can also show a gift popup on its own website, at most once a visit, until you close it or tap its button, and again for each new version of its campaign. Your browser gets it, and its pictures, from our server, with no cookie and no referrer, so our server sees your IP address, as above. To do that, it remembers in that browser which version of the popup you closed or tapped, and, for that browser tab, that it already asked. Its button opens the store's invitation on Wantone in a new tab. If you tap it, the visit is counted like any other visit by a link with campaign tags, and as an opened invitation (section 2). The anonymous shown, closed and tapped counts described in the bubble paragraph above apply to the popup too. Wantone stores nothing else about you from the popup beyond those error logs.
Creators and people in videos. Videos are made by creators and shown with credit to their source (for example YouTube or TikTok). If we contact a creator, we use a business email they have published, or a person at Wantone writes to the public TikTok account named in their clip's address, by hand from Wantone's own TikTok account. A TikTok handle is kept only until the preview ends. A creator can say "No thanks" and we delete their preview and the address or handle we used.
Creators who claim a profile. A creator can claim their profile on Wantone. We keep the claimant's account, their channel or handle and whether it was verified by the email the channel publishes, and their earnings records. A creator who claims earns a commission, set by the store, when a sale credited to their clip is paid, and the commission is reversed if the order is refunded. The store in whose program a creator claimed receives the creator's name and email, to pay them. The store pays its creators by hand from a monthly statement Wantone prepares. Wantone moves no money for this and holds no creator's payment details. There is no credit when the buyer is the creator's own account.
3. Why we use it
To help you with your gift, cart and orders. People at Wantone can see your phone number, the name on your orders, your gift, your cart and your orders, and may call or message you on WhatsApp about them. We send you offers on WhatsApp only if you've ticked the box to get them, and you can ask us to stop at any time.
- To run the service: sign you in, show products, take and send orders, take payment, send order emails for stores that send them, give refunds, and give you support. (You've asked us to, by using Wantone.)
- To keep it safe and lawful: stop fraud and gift abuse, follow tax, accounting and legal rules, and settle disputes.
- To send marketing email, only if you opted in. See section 8.
- To improve it: count visits, views, sign-ins, checkouts and orders, and see which videos lead to purchases, so we, creators and stores can see what works. Reports show totals only. Any count under 5 people shows as "fewer than 5" to everyone except the Wantone team.
- To keep the clips you save and show you which ones you saved. Your saved clips aren't shared with stores, creators or Meta, aren't counted in our statistics, and don't change any count. The number beside the heart is the source platform's own count, and saving a clip never changes it.
- To arrange each store's feed for you, so you see fresh clips and products first. This stays on your device, isn't sent to us, and isn't used for advertising or statistics. It isn't shared with stores, creators or Meta, and it doesn't depend on the advertising choice.
- To honour your privacy choices, such as a Global Privacy Control signal.
- To order your own feeds with what you do in the app, such as what you watch, save, open and buy. It's used only to order your own feeds, and to check, in totals across all shoppers, how well that works. It isn't shared with stores, creators or Meta, and it isn't used to work out anything else about you, such as your age or gender.
- To credit creators. In a store with a creator program, we record which clip led to each item you buy, so the store can pay that clip's creator a commission. It's kept on the order, and it happens whether or not our statistics are on.
Where the law asks for a basis: we use your data to perform our contract with you, to follow the law, for our legitimate interests in running and protecting Wantone (which don't override your rights), and, for marketing, with your consent.
4. Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal data for money. We share it only as below, and section 4A describes the limited data we share with Meta for some stores' ads.
- The seller of each order gets what it needs to fill and support the order: your name, delivery address, phone, email and what you bought. The seller is the store you're shopping in, Wantone, or another seller whose product the store carries. Each order says who ships it, and the checkout names the seller. Sellers use your data for that, and must follow their own laws and policies. Only the seller of an order gets its details: a seller doesn't see your other orders. A seller can't send you marketing through Wantone unless you opted in.
- Couriers. The seller's courier gets your name, delivery address and phone, only to deliver the order.
- The store a creator claimed with gets that creator's name and email, to pay their commission.
- The people who run Wantone for us (our service providers), who may use the data only to provide their service to us:
| Provider | What it does | Data it can see |
|---|---|---|
| Amazon Web Services (United States, us-east-1) | Hosts our servers and database, sends any email we send (Amazon SES), and runs our DNS (Route 53) | Everything we store; email addresses and message content |
| Resend (United States) | Sends our order emails for each store that's set up to send them, from the store's own address (a subdomain of wantone.now) | Your email address, your name, the order details in the email, and delivery and bounce events |
| Stripe (United States) | Payments and sales tax for US stores, on each store's own Stripe account, and can send your receipt, when the store has it on | Payment details, name, email, address, order amount |
| Cashfree (India) | Payments for Indian stores, on each store's own Cashfree account, and can send your receipt, when the store has it on | Payment details, name, email, phone, order amount |
| Message Central (VerifyNow) | Sends and checks sign-in codes for Indian (+91) numbers | Phone number, the code |
| Twilio (United States) | Sends and checks sign-in codes for other numbers, and for Indian numbers if Message Central cannot send one | Phone number, the code |
| ImprovMX | Forwards email sent to addresses at wantone.now (such as support@) to us | Your message, and your email address |
| Shopify | Runs the store's shop and holds its customers and orders | Orders and customers for the stores that use it |
| Mux | Stores and streams videos | Your IP address and requests when a video plays |
| Vercel | Hosts the marketing site wantone.now | Its request logs (such as IP address) |
| Meta (Facebook and Instagram) | Advertising measurement, for stores that advertise | Catalog IDs, value and currency for events; hashed phone and email for a purchase; and what Meta's own script collects (section 4A) |
Sign-in codes sent to Indian (+91) numbers are delivered by Message Central (VerifyNow), which receives your phone number to send and check the code. If it can't send one, Twilio sends it instead, as for other numbers.
We also use an AI service to match product listings between stores. It gets only product text (brand, title and variant), never personal data.
- Payment providers' own rules. Stripe and Cashfree are also independent controllers for the payment details they hold. See their privacy policies.
- Authorities and lawyers: if the law requires it, or to protect rights, safety or property.
- A buyer of Wantone, if the business is sold or merged, on the same terms as this policy.
4A. Advertising on Meta (Facebook and Instagram)
For some stores (none yet; Onetify's first), we measure and improve the store's ads on Meta. This section says what that involves. It never applies to sign-in, your address, checkout, orders, invitations, or any creator or owner page. It doesn't apply to rupee stores, and a store with ads off gets none of it.
What runs in your browser (web app only). Meta's pixel loads on a store's page and in the signed-in cart. It doesn't load:
- for a store without ads switched on;
- if you've chosen "Do not sell or share my personal information";
- if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal.
It reports four events: a page view, a product view, an add to cart, and the start of checkout. Our app gives Meta the catalog IDs of the store and variant, the value, the currency and the item count. It gives Meta no name, phone, email, address, account or visitor ID, and uses no advanced matching and no automatic events.
Meta's own script also collects, by itself: the page address with its query (product, clip, campaign tags and Meta's click ID), the referrer, your IP address and your browser's user-agent, and it sets Meta's cookies where your browser allows. See section 11.
What our server sends Meta about a purchase. After a paid order, our server sends Meta a "Purchase" event:
- the checkout's value and currency, and the catalog IDs with quantities and prices;
- the store page's address;
- your sign-in phone number and the order's email, each scrambled with a one-way hash (SHA-256) so Meta can match it to its own users. A hash is still personal data.
It never sends your delivery address, your delivery phone, a GSTIN, your IP address, cookies or your visitor ID. It is never sent for an install or shopper who opted out, a browser that sent a Global Privacy Control signal, Wantone's own sales, rupee sales, or test payments.
If Meta requires it, we also send your browser's user-agent, kept only until that checkout's event is decided (7 days at most), then deleted.
The product feed. Meta fetches the store's sellable products and variants from a private web address: public catalog information only (title, description, price, photos, brand, GTIN).
What Meta does with it. Meta is a separate company with its own privacy policy, and uses this data for its own purposes as well as ours, including showing ads. Its own cookies and retention rules apply. California law calls this kind of disclosure "sharing" for advertising.
Your choice. Use the "Do not sell or share my personal information" link in the footer of wantone.now and, in the app, in the information sheet of each store that advertises on Meta. It opens one switch, "Share with Meta for ads". Turn it off, and none of it is shared with Meta from then on (what Meta already has is under Meta's own policy, so ask Meta about that):
- your choice is kept in your browser, and on your account once you sign in, and is sent again each time you open Wantone and after you sign in. If we couldn't save it yet, we keep trying as you use Wantone, and sharing stays off in that browser meanwhile;
- a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser counts as the same choice: nothing is shared from this browser, and once you sign in, nothing from your account on any device. It stays that way until you turn sharing back on from a browser that doesn't send the signal (a signal can't turn it back on);
- our pages don't respond to Do Not Track signals. They honour Global Privacy Control and the opt-out link instead.
5. Where your data goes
Our servers are in the United States (AWS us-east-1). If you're in India, your data is sent to and stored in the United States, and to Cashfree in India. By using Wantone you understand that. We use providers who protect data to a comparable standard.
6. How long we keep it
| What | How long |
|---|---|
| Order contacts (name, address, phone, receipt email on an order) | The retention period of the order's seller (usually the store you bought from) after the order is finished: 12 months by default, or 6 if the seller chose that. Never longer than 12. Then blanked. Amounts and tax stay. For a product another seller supplies to a store, the supplier's period applies, not the store's |
| Invitation recipients (name, email, phone) | The store's retention period (12 months by default, or 6 if the store chose that; never longer than 12) after the invitation is finished: after its gift is spent or has expired, or the invitation expired unclaimed. An unopened invitation with no expiry is cleared the same period after it was sent |
| Sooner deletion | If Shopify tells us that a customer asked a store to erase their data, we blank that customer's finished orders at that store promptly, and the store's personal invitations to them. If Shopify tells us a whole shop is erased (after it uninstalls), we erase its customer records, personal invitations and product copies, and blank the contacts (name, address, phone and receipt email) on that shop's own orders: finished orders at once, orders with an open refund or not yet finished once they close, and anything left no later than 30 days after the uninstall. We keep each order's amounts, items, tax, GSTIN, order number, status, dates, state, country and tracking. This doesn't touch Wantone's own sales, or another seller's order carried in that shop's storefront |
| Orders and tax records | Kept for the years tax and accounting law require (amounts, tax, GST details, refunds) without your contact details, once the period above ends |
| Sign-in codes and attempts | Used or expired ones are deleted about a day later |
| Order emails at Resend | Resend keeps the content and delivery logs of our order emails for 30 days, in the United States, and then deletes them |
| Sessions | Up to 90 days of use, then expire. Signing out ends one sooner |
| Team customer-view logs | Who at Wantone viewed the customer screen, when, and which store or phone search they used; kept for 13 calendar months |
| WhatsApp offer preference | Your current choice and when you gave or withdrew it stay with your account until it is erased. Withdraw at any time by contacting support@wantone.now |
| Marketing preferences | Until you unsubscribe. We then keep only your address on a do-not-email list, so we don't email you again |
| Backups | Our database can be restored for up to 35 days. A deletion drops out of backups as they roll off |
| Your visits and activity (the events above, other than how you watch, with your visitor ID) | Kept for 13 calendar months. They're then folded into monthly totals (per store, month, kind of event and campaign, with no person and no IDs) and the events are deleted. The scrambled (hashed) form of your network address on them is blanked after 2 hours |
| How you watch (the clip plays and product sheets opened above) | Kept for 90 days, then deleted. They aren't folded into the monthly totals, and they aren't counted in any report creators, brands or stores see. The scrambled (hashed) form of your network address on them is blanked after 2 hours |
| Bubble and popup counts | Daily totals per store (and popup version), with no person; kept indefinitely |
| A visitor ID with no activity | Deleted once it's been unseen for 13 months and has no events left |
| The visitor ID on an order | Blanked when the order is 13 months old, or sooner when your contacts on the order are blanked (for a redaction request) |
| Your advertising opt-out (the signal on each order, and the date on your account and browser install) | The signal stays on the order with the rest of the order's record. The opt-out on your account stays until you turn sharing back on |
| Clips you save | Until you un-save them, your account is erased, or the clip itself is deleted. There's no expiry. You can keep up to 500 that are still shown. A saved clip that's withdrawn (for example by its creator) stops showing to you, and stays saved until then. Signing out doesn't delete them. You can ask us for a copy of them, and a person at Wantone will send it. Before you sign in, a save is kept only on your device, and moves to your account once you've signed in and opened a store. A save of a clip that has been withdrawn since can't move, and is removed from your device. If that would take you over 500, the newest 500 stay |
| What you've seen in a store's feed (on your device) | A product counts as unseen again after about 14 days. A product's summary older than 90 days is dropped, and at most about 500 products are kept per store, for at most 50 stores (the store shown longest ago is dropped first). Signing out clears it, and so does "Start fresh" |
| Your feed ranking | Each row is deleted at most 90 days after your last signal, and when your account is deleted (see section 7). The order of your Home's first page is deleted when it expires |
| Which clip led to an item you buy | On the order line, for as long as the order's record (like amounts and tax) is kept: redaction and the 13-month rule blank contacts, not the clip. On the cart line, until you remove the line or your order is paid (or, for a cash order, placed), which deletes the line, and it's cleared if the clip itself is deleted |
| A claiming creator's account and earnings records | Kept for as long as the creator's store exists on Wantone. Earnings records are kept as long as the store's accounts need them. Erasing a claiming creator's data is done by a person, on request, not automatically |
What we keep even if you ask us to erase:
- A GSTIN you gave stays on your order and its tax records, because the store's GST return names it.
- Amounts and tax on an order stay, without your contact details.
- Orders that Wantone itself sold keep the buyer's delivery address and receipt email when a store asks Shopify to erase its shop data, since those are Wantone's own sales and Wantone's records. If you ask for your data to be erased, a person at Wantone does it as set out in section 7, and the records above stay with your contact details removed (an unfinished order, once it's done).
7. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct it;
- delete it: a person at Wantone does this when you ask, as set out under "Deleting your account" below;
- stop marketing to you (use the unsubscribe link, or email us);
- restrict or object to some uses of your data;
- withdraw consent you gave, at any time.
Email support@wantone.now. We'll answer within 30 days. We may need to check it's you first, for example with a code to your phone. We'll never treat you worse for using your rights.
Deleting your account is done by a person at Wantone when you ask. We remove your phone number, your sign-in sessions, email addresses and codes, your cart, saved clips and feed ranking, the record of how you watch (your clip plays and product sheets opened, including those on your devices from before you signed in), and anything that links your account to the devices you used or to the other activity recorded on them. We blank your contact details (receipt email, phone, and delivery address except state and country) on your orders, on personal invitations that name your phone or an email you verified or used on an order, and on any creator claim. Records we must keep stay for the store's and Wantone's accounting and tax, without your contact details: orders, payments, gifts, creator claims and commissions. A scrambled form of your email stays on the do-not-email list. An order still being shipped or open for return is blanked once it's finished. Your account stays as an empty shell that can never sign in, so signing in again with the same number starts a new account, and any unspent gift balance is lost. We don't erase the store's own customer records, notes and marketing send history, a creator's business contact details (an email or TikTok handle), our messages to creators, or orders other people placed to ship to you. Copies held by payment providers (Stripe, Cashfree, and anything you typed on their pages), by our sign-in text provider, by the store's own Shopify, and by Meta (events already sent) are theirs, and we can't erase them. We tell you what was done.
- In India (Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023) you can also nominate someone to act for you and complain to our grievance officer: David K., at support@wantone.now. You can go to the Data Protection Board of India if we don't resolve it.
- In California and other US states you can ask to know, correct and delete your data. We don't sell it for money. For stores that advertise on Meta, we share limited data for advertising (section 4A), and you can opt out with the Do not sell or share my personal information link, or a Global Privacy Control signal. You can appeal a refusal by replying to us.
- Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends the signal, we treat it as a request not to sell or share your data for advertising (see section 4A), and nothing is shared from that browser. Once you sign in with it, it counts for your account on every device, until you turn sharing back on from a browser that doesn't send the signal.
- If you're a store's customer, you can ask the store, or ask us. We'll pass it to the store or do it for them.
- Un-save a clip by tapping its heart again, in the clip. Your saved clips go when you un-save them or your account is deleted.
- Start fresh: use the "Start fresh" link in a store's info sheet to clear what the app remembers about what you've seen in that store.
8. Marketing
- Opt-in only. We send marketing email only to people who chose to receive it. We don't send any yet.
- Every message says why you got it, has our postal address and a one-click unsubscribe link that needs no sign-in.
- At most 3 emails per person in 7 days.
- Order emails (from stores that send them) and sign-in codes aren't marketing and you'll still get them.
9. Security
- The database, server disk and backups are encrypted, and traffic is encrypted in transit.
- Store connection tokens are kept encrypted, and access to your data is limited to people who need it.
- Sign-in codes are rate-limited and expire after a short time. Message Central sets the expiry for codes it sends; Twilio codes expire after ten minutes.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects you, we'll tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
10. Children
Wantone isn't for anyone under 18. If you think a child has given us data, tell us and we'll delete it.
11. Cookies and similar storage
Our app sets no cookies. Where a store advertises on Meta, Meta's script sets two on store pages and the signed-in cart:
_fbp, a browser ID, kept 90 days and renewed each visit;_fbc, the ad-click ID, set when a link carries Meta's click ID, kept 90 days.
Our app never reads or sends them. They aren't set if you opted out or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal.
The app keeps eight items in your browser's local storage:
- Your sign-in (
wantone.session), written after you sign in: the sign-in token, when it expires, and your shopper ID, phone number and sign-up date. It lasts 90 days or until you sign out. - Your sound settings: whether the invitation page's sounds are muted (
wantone.sound-muted), and whether you've used the sound control or turned sound on with a tap (wantone.sound-hint-seen), so the "Tap for sound" hint stays hidden while you've chosen to mute. Whether clips play with sound isn't stored. Neither is sent to us. - Your last order's address and email (and, in India, the delivery phone), to fill in your next checkout. Only the last order is kept, and signing out removes it. It stays on your device, and nothing new is sent to our servers.
- A random visitor ID, with no cookie, to link your activity before and after you sign in. When you sign in, it joins your account. A new one starts when you sign out, or when another shopper signs in on the same device.
- Your advertising choice (
wantone.adsOptedOut), kept only if you turn sharing off, until you turn it back on. - Clips you save while signed out (
wantone.saved-clips.v1): the clip and when you saved it. It stays on your device only until you've signed in and opened a store, when it moves to your account and is removed from your device. - What you've seen in each store (
wantone.feed-memory.v1.followed by the store's short name, as in its link): the small summary described in section 2, one item per store you've visited. Signing out removes it, and so does "Start fresh". Nothing in it is sent to our servers. The app also briefly writes and removes one test item, which holds nothing about you (wantone.feed-memory.v1.__probe) to check that your browser allows storage. - The country you pick (
wantone.market): the country you choose in the Home filter, so the app can show you stores from that country. It stays on your device until you change it or clear the app's data.
On a store's own website, the Wantone bubble remembers, for that browser tab only (session storage), that you closed it and where you dragged it. A store's gift popup remembers, for that tab, that it already asked, and, in that browser's local storage, which version of it you closed or tapped. Neither sets a cookie or sends what it keeps.
The sign-in token is sent to our servers only as a request header. The marketing site stores nothing on your device.
